Hi,

Has anyone ever done this or learned about this type of therapy and could shed some light. I was asked to do it by my counsellor...I just wondered if anyone else had any experience of it.

In most of the novels and biographies I have read it is apparent that a woman will have almost 180 degree opinion from that of her mother. This is a life long difference in most of the cases I have read about.

So, I was wondering if you have any more substantial reading material than my observations in literature. Thank you.

Would you take the time to see the inner soul of a human being? Can you look beyond present socio-economic position and see a person's potential? Should you do this with each human being that you encounter? Would you do anything you could if you saw goodness and potential? Have you?

I have and am reaping the rewards.

Okay, my life is in turbine right now. I am so angry all the time that I can just explode.
I have 2 children and a fiancee. I don't yell at the kids I snap at them about fighting, but that's it. I dont yell at fiancee, unless he starts yelling first..... so what's the problem eh?
Well the anger is so pent up that I feel like exploding. I shake and quiver. I find myself thinking horrible thoughts of myself. I keep reliving everything bad from the past..... A lifetime of abuse frome parents and exes. How can I get past all this?
The latest that happened that turned me around was I recently had a hysterectomy. I came home from the hospital and started hopusework within an hour of being home. Well now my bladder collapsed again and I have to repeat that part of the surgery.
I cant help but think that if my fiancee really loved me I would have been able to rest properly. He went through eye surgery and I took care of him for 6 months.... He just lied around soaking up the attenion.

OK- so it doesn't matter where I work or who I work for, I have been having trouble lately with getting feelings for my boss. I am married and don't think I could ever bring my self to do anything like cheat on my husband, but the thoughts won't go away. Do you daydream about what would happen if... you started to cuddle or make out? what that would feel like? It's not normal, I know!!! I want it to go away! What now???

I fell out with my close female friend-we didn't speak for 4 months.(We got too close-I wanted a break, never a couple)We have patched things up slightly(she said we are still friends) and are barely on speaking terms!Only communicate via email-rarely though!

1.Her best friend has recently got in touch with me via Facebook-she wanted to add me as her friend! Considering that I fell out with her BEST MATE - IS THIS ODD?

We've exchanged 3 emails in a few hours, asking me how I am, what I'm upto - also suggested we can all meet up in a group and she said it'll be good to catch up! Her mate that I fell out with wasn't mentioned once!(Am sure she knows everything that happened bwt me and her mate).I hardly know her mate!(ONLY SPOKE TWICE!)

2.Why get in touch now? WHY WOULD HER MATE WANT INFO ABOUT ME-HOPING I MENTION HER?

3.Why is she being friendly/nice towards me - WHILE HER MATE (the one I fell out with) DON'T SPEAK TO ME???

Hi,
I am trying to deal with the fact that I was abused as a child once by a close family member. I have talked to my counsellor about this but I am afraid to tell her about what happened because I fear she won't believe me as it only happened once. It's a known fact that people who abuse children often don't stop at it being once. Should this be something I should worried about?
