I fell out with my close female friend-we didn't speak for 4 months.(We got too close-I wanted a break, never a couple)We have patched things up slightly(she said we are still friends) and are barely on speaking terms!Only communicate via email-rarely though!

1.Her best friend has recently got in touch with me via Facebook-she wanted to add me as her friend! Considering that I fell out with her BEST MATE - IS THIS ODD?

We've exchanged 3 emails in a few hours, asking me how I am, what I'm upto - also suggested we can all meet up in a group and she said it'll be good to catch up! Her mate that I fell out with wasn't mentioned once!(Am sure she knows everything that happened bwt me and her mate).I hardly know her mate!(ONLY SPOKE TWICE!)

2.Why get in touch now? WHY WOULD HER MATE WANT INFO ABOUT ME-HOPING I MENTION HER?

3.Why is she being friendly/nice towards me - WHILE HER MATE (the one I fell out with) DON'T SPEAK TO ME???

THE QUESTION IS ABOUT HER MATE-NOT THE ONE I FELL OUT WITH!

It's one thing to add someone to facebook-but another to start private emails bwt us! Wouldn't you agree?

Should I remain in touch?

I'm not sure if she's been asked to get in touch or if she's done it on her own.Our emails have been private, so the mate might not know!

The girl who is emailing you is just looking for info on you so she can go back and tell her friend....or maybe she likes you and wants to hook up... ask her, its the easiest way.

maybe she finds you to be an interesting guy and would like to get to know you better. Just because you fell out with her friend doesn't mean that she should automatically hate you, too. The falling out had nothing to do with the two of you, so if you want to make a new friend, get together with her, if not don't answer anymore emails. I don't think this is as deep as you are trying to make it.

tread carefully if the friend that you fell out with wants to talk then do it in privet not with other people around because it will be very awkward.i don't know about her friend do you think that it could be you ex friend talking to you using some one else computer you have to ask your ex friend just what is going on.
