Too general a statement. How old are you, is it you that you hate or is it your surroundings and your closeness to your family. Running away is never the right answer, but if a snake bites you often enough you have choices, remain there and keep get bitten,or walk away and think I am better than this and there is a whole world out there. Use intelligence over pain and anger, when the opportune time arises, make your decision and try to stick to it, without hating the others personalities, stress and confusion.

I have a crazy family, too. I mean literally crazy! My Mom and my Brother are both bipolar. I also have a cousin who is bipolar. My nephew has borderline personality disorder and is a borderline alcoholic. We have a lot of problems in our family, but I love them all anyway. You don't have to follow in your family's footsteps. You have your own life to live and your own decisions to make concerning where you'll go and what you'll do with your life. Don't hate your life. Life can be very fulfilling if you set goals for yourself and work hard to accomplish them. You can do and be anything you choose with hard work and patience. If you have your health, consider yourself blessed. I live in chronic pain 24/7 yet I am still grateful for the things I have and for my life. I know if you try, you can find some positives in your life.

Only you can change what you don't like in your life. If you don't like your family then move away from them. If you just don't like the things that they do, then don't become a part of what they do. learn from what they do, become what they are not. do what you want in your own life that makes you feel good about yourself. don't let them put you down. or let them get to your own self will or esteem. only you can control how you feel, or react to another ones situation or action.
take control of your own life. and don't let the lives of others influence how you want to live.

you'll acquire what you sow, perpetually, in case you do not take charge. My perfect suggestion that couldn't kill you is pass to a Library and checkout Jonathan Livingston Seagull, by technique of Richard Bach, then study and take up it.

well, unless all decide to get counseling, when you start a family of your own, everything you hated about your original members, try to not repeat the same mistakes....start a new tradition....

So are you going to sit there on the curb by the gutter and f**king whine your life away, or get up off your f**king a** and do something about it? It's entirely YOUR choice.

When you are old enough to live by your own means, your life will then be yours. Hang tough and you will have that to look forward to.
