I know this is going to create alot of ignorant people answering me, but can some open-minded people please help me on this one...I feel that all I can see is hatred when a question that hits someone's "danger zones" is asked and I am frankly VERY TIRED of this....To all that I know will leave ignorant answers, I still respect you....although you will not reciprocate, I am used to that....I am thinking for some, ignorance IS bliss?

Learning Annex teaching Pornography. What do YOU think?
There is an actual school called the Learning Annex in Los Angeles that has classes on "How to make money in the Adult Business." They teach you how to make videos, post things online, etc. In other words, how to become a pornographer.
I contacted the National Organization for Women about this, and they were very rude to me; they told me that they don't get involved in "things like that" and to not "waste their time." "If you don't like it, don't take the class."
So, it's ok for the image of women to be pornographic images? Oh, sure, I am sure that helps women improve via empowerment!
How disgusting!
Women don't care?
Ok. That's how I tried to help (I am a man).
Here's MY question: What can you do about this?!

I am a sociology/psychology student interested in finding out why we recall past events so differently than they occur, although I can't quite sum it all up in my mind. I am aware of constructionism, which is the theory that we are constantly shaping memories in our mind.

For instance, my friends and I had a beach house for two weeks which we all looked back on as the best time in our lives. When we talk about it we never remember the few fights we had while there, as they seem to have been forgotten and the only memory left is of good times. Does anyone have further thoughts on this phenomenon because I had hoped to write a paper on this subject and have no direction as of yet.

If you could wipe away all the things negative and change your life without using the word money or anything reflective of that word,while ridding your self of all the stress you have right now what would that one word be???!!!
Close your eyes see the word then say it ,after that take a deep breath and see your change take place!! Do you think there is such a thing as ridding yourself of your own negative energy by saying one word !!???

Here's an interesting article. I take issue with the writer's conclusions.

Do you think it possible that the issue is mistated. Could it be that it is not about 'making babies smarter' with all of its typical competitive connotations, but rather good to stimulate babies with interesting things entirely to arouse their curiosity. Shouldn't that be a sufficient benefit. Why does 'smarter' seem like the only condition appreciated by the writer...

How about admitting that stimulation is better than inertia and isolation?

If everyone was REQUIRED to take a pill that eliminated ALL addictions (food, drugs, cigarettes), what would be the impact on our socioeconomic system? (environment, health, family, and other institutions)? Let's say we'd all have to take this pill ONCE and it lasts for a lifetime

Well....I, personally, advocate it, because it gives us women a sense of empowerment. I even heard that Christina Aguilera, a "Stop Vioence Against Women" activist, loves the idea of strong women beating up their husbands/boyfriends. I also believe, unlike women, men deserve to have the CRAP beaten out of them by women, just because they are ****!!! But, what are your vies on this?

I am finding it vey difficult to decide what to do with my life... everything i think of, whether it is an MA, a job or an internship of some kind- I dismiss by saying 'i am not passionate enough about it' ... sometimes I think I say these things because I am afraid of screwing up but I do not think that it the only issue behind me always being undecided- what do you think???? thanks x

Let me remark that one of the reasons for having a go at psychotherapy is that you are nasty to yourself .... so what does that say
about the prescription for an entire nation full
