The muscleman physique grosses me out. I'd rather be with someone with a beer gut. So, to answer your question, a toned body is more attractive than the muscleman physique.

First off, remember personality- I'm attracted to that above anything else.
But when it comes to bodies, I'd much rather have a skinny, concave, muscle-less boy or a nice chubby, stocky man than a muscleman who looks like he just came from the gym. That just doesn't appeal to me.
So, toned, but not too much.
That's just me, though. I think most women are pretty much the same- a little beefcake is nice, but no extremes either way.

I'm personally not attracted to a muscleman physique. Toned is nice, but average bodies are nice too. I tend to be more drawn to men's faces.
I think it really depends on the woman.

A toned body is better than the muscleman physique's that are shown in magazines. Those are gross. Muscles are good but should not be overdone.

People are attracted to other people for different reasons. Physique is just one of the traits that a person might be attracted to, some power, some money, some status. So yes in as much as a bee would look for a better looking flower to extract pollen from (and colour/scent would be the drawing factors) such is physique. Post attraction would be like/love, where you get to know the person and love them for who they are. MATURITY DETERMINES WHAT YOU LOOK FOR IN A GUY/GIRL.

Bodybuilder physique is a definite turnoff for a lot of women. I personally could care less about how toned a guy is.

the muscleman physique is a turn off for most women. and having a toned body isn't as important as having cool hair(usually a shag) or having babyfaced teenage look. to me, that's what it seems women are into nowadays.

Whether muscle or toned, women to whom physique really matters are those whose attractions are determined by the way they feel about themselves to be in the presence of attractive men.
Girls who want more than to simply feel worthy of sexy men look for far more than physique.

It depends what your into I guess. I have been working out for over 15 years, so yes I am into that. I also take care of myself and eat right, no smoking, very little alcohol, etc.. My husband and I met at the gym. He is very toned with muscular build but not the gross kind everyone is referring to. To each their own... The heart is the biggest muscle in the body, that's where true love is found:)

Cause believe it or not their is an advantage to the male chest. Breasts do get in the way, can be a pain during runing. So sometimes we do envy a guy with a hairy chest.
