my questions usually gets ignored for whatever reason..they might not be the most interesting questions but, they are still questions.

Well people join Yahoo primarily for entertainment reasons, they may just not be in the mood for answering your type of question.

There may be a couple of reasons. Firstly they may not feel they know the answer, or can give you any insight into the question. They may feel that the question is too vague and aren't sure what is it you are looking for. They might just pass your question over because it doesn't fall into a category that they like or are familiar with.
Most people on Yahoo Answers are here to give or get help, so don't be discouraged yet. Hope this helps, B

Your questions probably don't interest most people. You said yourself, that your questions might not be the most interesting ones. If you think that, I suggest to post some that are.
This question might get a lot of response, because the people answering it will more than likely say the same thing.
Here is a question to post: "Why do carrots grow downward in soil and the heads stick out of the soil?

I usually only answer questions where i think my opinion may be helpful.If i click on a question and what i would say is already posted,i don't answer it.Or if I have absolutely no idea about the topic,I don't answer it.
But just to put a smile on your dial-I will go back and answer some of your questions for you!!

Poorly constructed questions, lack of intrest, the same questions being asked 5 times. People will find a reason to complain. Take what you get and love it...

I know how you feel. My questions get few answers, as well. I think it might be timing. Sometimes that question, or a similar one has appeared a lot and people just don't want to repeat their answers. Also, I think sometimes they don't know what to say. Don't take it personally..just keep asking. :-)

If I haven't a clue about the question or how to answer it with authority, I usually ignore it. It is not a personal slight toward you, its lack of knowledge on my part.

Because they only like answering certian questions while they ignore your question and answer other questions that interest them.
