I’m going to start taking zactin soon and I’m very, very worried I’ll start gaining weight. My doctor said I WON’T gain and the fact sheet says weight loss is a possible side affect but nothing about weight gain, but I’m still a bit skeptical about it. Everyone seems to have gained weight taking anti depressants.
Please help!!!

My friend has been married to her husband for two years, no kid. I guess they really weren't in love, that she should cheat on him already. Anyways, she met this guy, always talked to me about him (I was beginning to become suspicious of her--always talking about this new guy), and she really thinks she's in love. So, let's just put it that she really is in love with him. She slept with him, and now she's pregnant. She can't really claim its her husband's baby, cuz he's been working in another country for a year now. "Abortion is out of the question" she says, and is now thinking about staying with me (I live alone in the country side) give birth to the baby and give it up for adoption. My friend is one of those people who is obssessed w/ what society thinks of her--all her friends are Christians, and she's been raised with the kinda concept: "Adultary is sin, go to hell" Well, maybe I emphasized it a bit too much.

Like if there was this high school student failing in school, he continually makes really bad choices in life, and he is not smarter than a 5th grader. He is a junkie, a bad person with a bad personality, and he drinks constantly. Yet, despite all of these aspects of that fool, people will usually say "he is actually really smart, he is just lazy" or something like that? Are they trying to shine light to that guy's status or do they actually believe that??

Hi,

While I am trying to find information for racial differences in genes for curiosity and knowledge, this is not, in any way, for the purpose of "racial" differences as some people might think that it could be take as "racism."
I have searched online but only a few groups are listed differences mainly: African-American, European-Americans and Chinese-Americans.

Also I know that certain diseases are inherited through your genes it'd interested to know if there is traits in your genes that give you bad sight since you are born or bad skin or the opposite.

Some people I have talked to, for example, have said that while they always suffered from something in their bodies other parts seen so perfecte they have never had problems with them. In my opinion, I consider that every single body in this planet has its flaws organically as well as its perfection in others. What do you think? Check if you have suffered from something since you were born and you always thought it was natural

Here is what I am trying to understand by this word, this was written in my last question so you will know what I am refering to:

Please explain this personality type.

A female who flirts very much with you, but then you find out that she has many "friends" tagging along with her at the same time , and you thought you were the only one , and then she lies about things to try and cover up, but still tries to get you to tag along ? And she does not just lie, I think she just forgets what she said last time because she has spoken to so many of her other "friends" that day. But she is an incredible flirt. (meaning flirtatious) And I dont think she even takes anybody serious, maybe her ex.
Serious question what is wrong with this person?

BUT HERE IS WHAT SHE IS DOING TO ME NOW.

NOW , SHE HAS ACCUSED ME OF BEING ABUSIVE TO HER FOR ACCUSING HER OF THINGS!!
NOW SHE IS CALLING IT OFF@!

BUT , BELIEVE ME, IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME!!

I feel so ugly. I know I have it better off than many people, and many would be mad at me for feeling this way, but I feel fat. I'm not fat, maybe a tiny bit chubby. I just feel huge. I was always tall for my age. I evened out and now I'm 5'7 but I've always felt like a giant since I grew so fast as a child.

Ever since puberty I've felt ugly. I know it seems it must stem from a problem inside but I don't think it does, because I feel this way even when I'm really happy and doing well emotionally. I've also had bad acne off and on, which hasn't helped.

My husband tells me I'm beautiful but I feel like I'm not pretty enough for him, that he'd be better off with someone less clumsy, and who was shorter than him. I'm the same height as him but sometimes I look taller.

What can I do to feel pretty like I did as a little girl?

2007-03-07 16:43:35 · 13 answers · asked by Dawn 1 in Psychology

I have a problem, I admit it. I am approval-addicted and want other people to like me. So whenever anyone talks about anything, I bring up something in my past life that is also related to that-- it makes me feel included and it makes me more interesting to the person talking.

My boyfriend has a problem with this. Especially as it pertains to sports. He's a sports fanatic and follows football and basketball... knows everything there is to know about them. I don't know very much; I have no real loyalty for one team, but I like to cheer on my favorite players. When we went to a basketball game today, I was joined in a lively conversation with my other friends using what little sports terminology I possessed, and talking about basketball. True, it's something I wouldn't ordinarily talk about, but my boyfriend sees this as being "poser-ish", since he knows I don't follow sports but I'm trying to sound sports-savvy and like I know something about it or really like it.
