Some of you guys have done nothing but brag about brut strength, about how men are the ones with any important accomplishments, etc, while making shocking comments about women's vaginas, about their basic human rights, about thier supposed laziness, their periods etc.

I'm leaving women's studies because if I keep reading what men like you say i might just forget that that not all men all men are like you. This is not a Women's Studies forum - it is gender abuse.

Some of us believe in treating one's neighbour with love and respect. I do not know what kind of people you badmouthed men are, but you are showing yourselves to be lesser humans - not superior as you claim.

Very few if any of the women on this forum have come close to behaving as terribly as you have. It is nice you say goodbye to you boys, and remember that there are none so blind as those who 'will not' see.

Who should be considered a rich person, one who is driving a Mercedes, owning a palatial bungalow and haggling for a few rupees reduction while purchasing a thing worth hundred rupees, OR one who is in rags and refuses to accept a ten rupee note with the argument that ' My needs for today are met, I don't need any more money for today' ?

I had a boyfriend, now deceased, who fit the description of a sociopath part of the time, and had integrity and kindness and tolerance the rest of the time. My primary source of description of a sociopath is the book, "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout, ph.d. The symptoms I saw were right in line with the sociopath in personal decisions about himself, such as drug abuse, alcohol abuse, smoking even though he had terminal Cronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and decisions about himself and his personal health and safety.
Yet, with regards to myself, my mother, and his friends, he would spare no effort to be of service. He was supportive, always positive, and truely affectionate.
Is there a term that better describes this dichotomy? I'm looking for a wholisitic view on his personality.

I read this articel, title listed above, and it was a vast myriad of generalisations about women. Men are by far more viloent and ill-tempered than women. Now, some supposed researchers claims that a study of some women in europe proves something about this subject. Most of the women I know do not fit this profile AT ALL? What do you ladies out there-worldwide think of this article on Yahoo's front page? Why does everything have to have its origin in the body. How about manners/ Self-dicspline? Maturity levels. Narcsissism? Bi-polars undiagnosed? There are dozens of reseaons women could be ill-tempered. And if this is true, why is it, men commit the violent crimes?

It's not that I don't enjoy being around people, but unless I have some reason to go out, it just doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather stay home and watch TV or go on the computer than go to the mall to hang out, or go to a club. Does that make me wierd? It's kinda affected my personality because I'm VERY shy, and even though I'm good looking, I've been on one date and I'm 20 years old.

I have...I mean..USED to have this friend (she wasn't really a friend, but she'd follow me around), and she has serious issues. Shes 13 and she thinks this 8 year old little kid is HOT. Not cute, but HOT. She even asked if she'll be able to marry the kid when they grow up. She'll be in college, and he'll probably be a freshman in high school. She is obsessive over him...Now when I think about it, it's creepy. Is it just me, or is she crazy?

*She doesn't like him as a little boy (like a brother). Once I asked her (jokingly) who she'd rather have physical contact with, and she asked if it could be someone younger...I think it's the little kid.

It can't be just wearing makeup and dresses, and I don't buy into the whole "more sensitive" thing. So, what is it about women that men find so feminine?
