Go straight to facing your fear dont procrastinate one second.
Go and intentionally cross roads and it will fade off slowly be determined I had simliar phobias that I faced in the exact same way purposefuly put urself in the situation repeatedly. Have a close close friend helop you and be with you fros upport.

Good Luck

I do, sort of. The other day, my car broke down a couple ofmiles of the interstate. My girlfriend wanted a coke. The nearest store was 2 miles down the road near the interstate. Just before you reach the store, there's a small bridge. Small in a car. And there's no walkway, so if a car comes, I have to choose between getting mauled down by a car and jumping off the bridge onto the interstate, 30 feet below.

So..... I darted across, as quickly as I could. Of course, a cars started coming from both lanes. Fortuneately, the guy in the lane I was going in wasn't driving all the fast. So... I make it to the store to buy her precious coke. Then, I repeat the same routine and make the unnecessarily long walk back to my car.

Ever since then, I've been a little skiddish about nearby cars. lol. not reallya phobia, but like i said. sort of.

Do you live in Asia? Maybe, he-he. I understand. I've been in two car accidents where the car I was in got totally wrecked - it got sent to the junk yard. Miraculously, I emerged unscathed in both instances.

The most important thing is not to let this fear control you and keep you home. On the contrary, get out as much as you can, look both (or four) ways when crossing intersections. Keep your eyes on the road and maintain good driving habits (i.e., don't drink/chat/text message/fiddle with things while driving). Encourage yourself with the thought that you're doing your part in keeping the roads safe - if you're alert and on your toes, everything should be just fine.

However, if this gets any more serious, talk to a friend, family member or counsellor. That should help.

well my mum is like that as well... first you need to forget the past and then the new day will come... try to relax and follow the red lights and crossings that are there...
take a deep breath and go! soon everything will be over and you'll have crossed the street before you know it.
(if it helps to begin with, you can hold someone's hand when crossing the road)
hope i have helped! ^^

No, your no longer the only one. I HATE balloons. My maximum weird phobia is having water from the toliet in my bathe or in the sink. It freaks me out so I flush the lavatory after i grew to become into my arms.
