I got my psychiatric evaluation several hours ago----I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the Doc issued me a prescription...So I want to ask, except taking lithium, what else can I do ?...I just sit here and take pills every few hours?....Thanks.

I need some words of encouragement, after being treated pretty badly by this guy_ I still have feelings for him and keep thinking about all the times he was good to me... -I’m 14.
-Some of my teachers pressure me
-Started to learn German in a new class but the teacher who organised it for me only let me have 1 period a week to learn it.
-Now instead of a year of 3 periods per week I only get 1 period a week for about 3.5 months.
-The pressure to learn all of it is very stressful and I’ve started to get really angry and I really try to calm down but sometimes I feel on the verge of tears for hours.
- I have four supposedly ‘best’ friends but only one of them understands right now.
-They all have other plans on the weekend so I have nothing better to do and it gets me really depressed when they arrange things, then change the plans and don’t tell me.
-I just need some way of coping with stress, coping with lots of school work and some way of getting a better social life.
BTW
- My school does not offer any kind of counselling
-I’m quite shy so I have depended on my friends until now.

It's been interesting to see how horribly the idea has back-fired, but also a little scary to see just how seriously people seem to take it.

In Australia we are reputed to take a swipe at "tall poppies" as almost a matter of national pride, but it certainly isn't only Aussies who are indulging in TC bashing at the moment.

The way passions tend to run high on Y!A anyway, is it really productive to add another layer of false elitism to feed people's prejudices?

I would also argue that the development is taking place in regions. The north west (Delhi, Hariyana, Punjab), the South (all southern states) the west ( Maharashtra and Gujarat). Apart from these regions, including perhaps southern West Bengal, very little headway has been made in economic development...For instance,(Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Northern West Bengal,) and the North East. Which accounts for almost 1 on every 3 Indians have seen a decline in the general standard of living... for a real all India optimism to take place the central government will have to tackle the problem of the lack of development in the North and North East regions?
