Deirdre, (Dear<==== not sexist comment).
I just ask the questions out of curiosity and to get women's opinions.
Why do most of you Liberals Feminist take every thing so personal.
Most people that wear their feeling out on their shirt sleeve are the ones who seem to be easily inflamed.
Also, may I ask?
Why do the liberal Feminists when answering questions, always feel it necessary to throw in the sarcastic, demeaning, comments and remarks?
This statement was in women's studies yesterday. Did you make your nasty remarks to the one who originally posted it.
Have you a good day.

It certainly seems that way sometimes, doesn't it? They thrive on conflict. They can't summon up energy unless it's to throw a hissy fit about a perceived wrong. Their life is a sorry attempt to fill a gaping void where most people put healthy relationships, love life, and hobbies with anger, hatred, and bitterness. Inevitably they die old, alone, and often in the company of several cats.
Rather sad in a way.

There are many different kinds of feminists and the ones that have a serious commitment to equality certainly would not bother with nonsense like this. You for the most part just try and upset and inflame others. Any attention from women is better than nothing.

The feminist movement, when first organized, had real issues...the rights for women to vote and equal pay for equal work, etc. My hat is off to the women who went before me and, because of their dedication in the face of persecution, I am now an equal part of society.
The feminist movement, as it exists today, is full of whiners and women who want their cake and eat it too...without having to bake it. With the important work already done, they still feel the need to cry foul at every little thing.
Its time these women focussed their energies on the rights of humans...and cut the crap about 'women's rights'.

The statement is true. Many so called feminists suffer from a persecution complex which makes them do the most bizarre things in order to prove a point. It is a strange way to demonstrate the 'might is right' trait( its also a waste of silk panties).

One of my friends has a definition of feminism that she likes- I don't know where she got it. "Feminism is the radical idea that women are people too"
