You're walking on a sidewalk when you see a man brutally beaten by a gang. They think he's dead and leave, but when you look at him he's still breathing. He says to you "If they know I'm still alive, they'll come after me again."

You can:

A. Leave him there to die

B. Take him to a hospital

C. Care for him yourself, leaving out the police or medical care

D. Attempt to kill the gang members that beat him up

Whenever I am around a certain guy, I seem to act very curt and rude. I really think he is sweet and I enjoy his company, but I can't help but tease him. It's horrible! My sarcastic side comes out whenever I converse with him. Maybe I do it because he is kind and accepts defeat easily, or maybe I do it because I want his attention...I really don't know. Any other ideas why I act this way? Any ideas of how I can control my bitter retorts?

I had this dream last night which has left me worried/intrigued. It was in different fragments. One part was of my teeth falling out. It didn't, they were just falling out really easy and I was bleeding. I remember the blood flowing in a river kind of way. Can anyone give any information on what that could have meant?

I suspect fear of death as a finality is dispositional. I've posted before, and I'm puzzled that some non-theists fear death while others do not in the least. I suspect the fear of death as a human inevitability depends on the person. Why do you think some non-theists fear death while others do not? Why do some irreligious people die peacefully, almost smugly, while others struggle with it in a state of utter terror? My suspicion is that it depends on the sensitivity of the limbic system, which increases ones sensitivity to a particular reality.

Several people in my life feel strongly about several different things. As for myself there are only a few things I feel strongly about. Sometimes I dont feel anything at all for months on end. I feel like I am missing something and then I wake up and Im like what in the hell has been going on. Does anyone else numb out like that?

I've handled a few wild animals and have been around a few that were killed ..... and ... some animals may have a musky smell but most I've been around don't stink.

However..... if you're around human that doesn't bathe ... they smell like poop, pee, fish, vomit, sweat or God knows what else. Why does mankind turn so foul .... when other animals exhibit very little odor ? Has anyone been around natives ? Do they smell so bad ??

After seeing Larry King's show last night on "The Secret" I am interested in what other people have read regarding self improvement for gaining more success and life fulfillment. The Secret to me seems to be repetitive as far as other self help methods plus "Law of Attraction" principles written about from everyone Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Norman V Peal, The Magic of Believing and of course the Bible is filled with "ask and ye shall receive." Of course things aren't always that simple for everyone, especially that people's mind sets are unique and what works for one doesn't necessarily work beneficially to others. There are so many self help method books and DVD's out there now, so I would like to see what you guys have used that made real life changing breakthroughs and helped improve your finances, relationships, goals, jobs, whatever
