The "Why me" syndrome is kinda like a defense mechanism...whenever something bad happens to us, we second guess ourselves --- what did I do wrong? do I deserve this punishment?, etc., etc. And more often than not, our inner selves will reject the notion that we are at fault --- "why me" now becomes a rationalization that while we are faultless there are just things beyond our control...so life goes on....and somehow, our sanity remains intact!
When I was younger, I went through a lot of "why me" moments. And the outcome was the same --- it was always somebody else's fault!
When I turned 50 (late maturity?), I finally made peace with my God. I no longer ask "why me"...now, I take the hard blows the same way as the soft blows - total acceptance, no complaints! --- they are thrown my way for a reason. And yes, I do believe my sanity is still intact!

I don't use it, it automatically implies "Why not someone else", and people usually use it when something bad happens to them.
I tend to accept whatever happens because it it makes life easier. I often ask myself why things happen and then decide if I can do something about it or if it is beyond my control. Saves me a lot of frustration.

Why me, words that explain that some one is trying to void the blame, or I dont want to do this get someone else, or when a traumatic thing has happened to one's self the saying states why did this happen to me, in other words why has it happened at all. so its a very questional two words that has loads of reasons why we say this.
