i talking about dreams-our goals in life?
am i right in saying that we should'nt hope..
we should only dream coz hope is something we are leaving to destiny but our dream-our vision gives us the passion to realize it!

I think that dreaming (as in daydreaming) implies a sort of nebulous fantasy about your future, not necessarily a definitive concept of an actual occurrence which you have planned in a concrete way, while hope seems to me to indicate that you have envisioned and worked toward a future goal which you recognize as being eminently attainable and whose fulfillment you are currently awaiting with optimism. Chronologically, your aspirations would progress this way: dreaming > planning > hoping for a positive outcome...

Dream is a wish. Hope is an expectation that it may come true with realization that it may not.
For example: you have a dream of being a millionaire. Hope needs some basis in reality (buying a lottery ticket -small hope) but when you know you have real talent, education, drive, you work hard - then your hope of achieving your goal is quite realistic.
Another example: You want a motor bike. It's your dream.
You tell your parents about it. You hope they will buy it for your birthday. Hope means that you really would want them to buy it (expectation) but you know they may or may not.

The dream is the desire, and hope is what keeps it alive.
You dream you buy a house.Well you save money and hope....meaning you keep a positive attitude about your chances of buying a house.Without hope, we wouldn't have dreams.Without dreams,we wouldn't have hope.It's a two way street.
