Several people in my life feel strongly about several different things. As for myself there are only a few things I feel strongly about. Sometimes I dont feel anything at all for months on end. I feel like I am missing something and then I wake up and Im like what in the hell has been going on. Does anyone else numb out like that?

Sometimes people who have been through trauma of some kind do that....... it's a self defense mechanism, not feeling anything means not feeling pain.

yes i do. how everyone feels strongly about a court hearing or a car debt- and i can't say i feel strongly about it at all. my brother has been fighting to keep his daughter in a joint custody instead of full custody for the motherr for a while. i never really realized what would happen if he didn't win until a week ago. i said, "Oh my god i could probably never see my neice again." everyone thought i was crazy because i hadn't worried sooner. it was very wierd.

I think my perspective has been altered. I used to feel strongly or address many topics quite vocally. But all of that is gone. When my ex moved to another state and took my daughters with her, I realized they are all that is really important to me.
Work, my hobbies, even politics are so inconsequential compared to those few big matters where they really are significant.
Many people will sweat everything or take it personally or have strong convictions.
It depends on their perspective

Having strong feelings about something and being right are not synonymous.
Keep it simple, and don't stress-out about things like this.
I feel fairly strong about that. ;)

I do, sometimes, but not to your degree.
