If you'd be to suffer a public execution, what'd you think of the executioner? or what would you feel for him?

Would you forgive him because is his job? or would you hate him? would you beg him mercy or kill you fast without suffering?

Until you are faced with that specific predicament it is hard to know exactly what you would do, however, we all have our ideas.

If I was facing an executioner there probably would have been some sort of death sentence and I probably would have had some time to come to some sort of acceptance of the fact. So I believe that I would just consider him as another person doing his job, whatever he has to do to put food on the table, right? But if I got some vibe from him that he had some morbid interest in carrying out his job I probably would not be so compassionate toward him and would probably lump him in with those that sentenced me.

It would depend on if I was guilty or not..if my crime merited death.
Just because something is your job..doesn't mean you have to do it...If it was my job to destroy a life I knew was innocent..I would certainly NOT do it..and would expect the person on the other end of the gun (nice pun huh?) to do the same if the situation were reversed...too much nowadays folks make excuses for bad behavior just because "it's my job" but people should have morals and standards (I hope) and a good sense of right and wrong.
nutshell..if I was guilty I would forgive him/her...if I was innocent and the executioner new it..I would never forgive them!
oh dear god yes...please do it quick!!

i wouldn't blame him, some one has to do the dirty work, most time those who don't get their hands dirty are the worst people like politicians..lol..i wouldn't hate him cuz even without me tormenting him he would still suffer psychological trauma its a fact that killing ppl for a living causes you problems.

I would hate his guts and if given the slightest opportunity -I would kill him. If I got no such opportunity -I wouldn't want it to be fast-I would want to make sure I screw him up psycologically and he'll be haunted by the memory for many years to come-preferably all his life -if he doesn't go quite mad first. (That would please me greatly)

I would forgive him because it's his job. I would tell him to do it fast.
