I am opting for Hotel Management, but i am confused whether I posses that inner-managerical capacity.?

i am shy and cannot easily socialise with people , but what i like is the beautiful hotel rooms and that exiting hotel atmosphere.I have seen the top 5star hotels around the world in t.v and would love to work there,but i lack confidence,please help

You need to take formal courses which teach one how to be an effective manager.

There are basic tenets that you need to adhere to, such as delegation of tasks, respect for all individuals, non-confrontation in a public forum...

These techniques can be learned and mastered.

Of course, you also need to become proficient in all activities involved in hotel management. People don't relate to management types who haven't come up through the ranks and experienced first hand the problems and ambiguities of all of the jobs.

Don't worry about your shyness. Once you have diligently studied and gained proficiency on the job, that shyness will disappear.

The best thing to remember is to give proper respect to all employees, no matter their job description.

That is the wrong reason to get into the business. You have to be forward, outgoing and be able to socialize and communicate well with others. Because at all times you dealing with clients, staff, suppliers, contractors just to name a few. I can assure you the hotel industry is not as glamorous as you may think

sure.. very plenty so. I even have many. i stay presently with my kinfolk in an quite unhappy difficulty. i'm the youngest of five. i consistently have the longing to proceed to exist my own and be able to help myself. wreck out and merely in no way see them back. I also have a longing to get into dance back. ideally present day. I also have a longing to stay with out concern of others hurting me or feeling belittled by ability of others. I also have a longing to holiday and experience the worldwide on my own words with out counting on others. many longings that i'm hoping i do get to for fill. yet for now.. i wait.
