Social Science - 10 March 2007

How come there are so many here? and all over the internet? It is the most common type I run into online. Websites and forums are literally crawling with INFJs. However, I am not sure whether I have ever met another INFJ in person (just online). Can anyone explain?

Might be quite a broad question but I ask anyway:
what's the future of Russia economically and socially? As far as I've understood, the country is experiencing economic growth but when are we going to see it reaching, say, western European standards? I mean, St. Petersburg and Moscow are modern cities but are the chances the other cities and towns throughout the entire country will develop? I think Russian culture is one of the most exciting in the world and it's a pity that there are still some major problems there to be solved... Thanks for any replies! -Russian fan :)

I dreamed that I had gone into work and found out there had been a bad wreck and someone was killed but they wouldn't say who until I say one of my co-workers, another friends sister, wipe something off a dry erase board and I saw the name before she could completely wipe it off and it was a good friend of mine who has moved away and we rarely see each other and when I left the hospital I was going to go to the accident scene but woke up before I got there. This dream really stuck with me and my dreams don't usually hang around after I wake up.

My mother has always taken her anger and bitterness out on me cos my dad left left us when I was 5. She was and is a cold, hard woman who showed me very little love and affection as I grew up, still doesn't. Well, I'm now 42, have had 4 serious relationships, the last one ending recently but I seem to keep behaving in the same way, when the going is good in a relationship, I push my partner away cos I need them to constantly reassure me that they love me, then when they get tired of being hurt by me, and leave,I'm heartbroken. I had truly found my soulmate in my last partner, and there may be a small chance that in time we could give it another chance, but I don't think I know how love properly.I tried to explain but the words are hard to find. I don't think I deserve to be loved cos my mother spent years telling me that I didn't deserve love.It's a horrible cycle, and I can't take the pain anymore. I want to uproot,move To Cornwall, find peace in my surroundings. What else can I do

I am interested in shamanism, espeiallly since i heard that once the mentally ill were considered to be gifted and were trained to become medicine men. I am bipolar and sometimes have believed that i have expereinced the mystical. What do you make of this?? Jungian psychologists would perhaps take psychosis more seriously than just pump us full of drugs.

Why does she allow her three children do as they please. and not give them any guidance, dignancy or self-worth or respect.. They run aroud disresptecting anyone and everyone in the house. all three are failing there grades. one has failed 3 times already. the other in now from the looks of it. headed to court because of his behavior. one is not having now showing all kinds of behavior problems. They run around make there own choices and do as they please. Why does she allow this to go on when they do not even show her respect.. Her other children from a previous marriage only one has graduated. one is in jail. one has no job and seems to have no drive to get a job just wants relationships. and cannot take care of his own child from a previous relationship. yet she says or does nothing to give them guidance.....Why

I was standing in my room, and outside my windows were 2 white guys with black sweatshirts on, and they had their drawstring hoods covering their faces. I scream, but no one hears me. IDK wat happened after that, but much later, I arrive home to my room totally empty, obviously robbed, and my rabbit shot in his cage. Idk why i had this dream though, could've been anything??

i have come across a person who says he cant sleep if he does not masterbate.and so has to masterbste daily night or he stays sleepless,and due to which his health is also suffering but says cant give up the habbit of masterbating.can this be called as addiction what kind of chemical imbalance can cause this situation does he needs to be treated for addiction.
