Yes. Briefly, people tend to act before thinking more during a full moon. The result is more energy but also more forgetting things or less efficiency.
During the new moon, people tend to feel more lethargic or passive. These are generalizations and I am sure that studies could be conducted with few preconcieved notions to verify this. I have only verified what applies to me personally both in the city and in the country. I have not researched these effects and I am sure there must be plenty of literature out there on the subject.

My mom has ALWAYS told me this! I'll tell her how the kids were just totally hyper this day, and all she would reply was "It's a full moon, Lindsey!" And what is weird is I never kept up with the moon's stages, but when the kids would start acting up or just going wild, I would look at the calendar and find that it was always almost a full moon, or a full moon.

Although most experiments fail to show a relationship between the phase of the moon and abnormal behavior, the belief in the "lunar effect" is still strong among many people. Unfortunately, the occasional newspaper story that describes strange behaviors during a full moon only reinforces this myth.

I found that whenever there is a full moon, I seem to have more difficulties than usual. And at the group home I worked at, there was always something happening.

I use to be a crowd controller. People were usually more troublesome on a full moon. And a nursing sister told me that they the elderly patients would play up on a full moon.
Personally, I hate the east wind. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Children seem to act out more during that period of the month so I think it can if the person allows it.

Personally, I think it's the "power of suggestion". Just like when a person is supersticious(sp). If you believe in it, you give power to it, and you can make it happen.
