I do! What have you done...."been there, or dreamt it"?

Resolved: The United Nations' obligation to protect global human rights ought to be valued above its obligation to respect national sovereignty.

Basically, for an argument in the proponency, important points include that it is ethical to protect humankind in general. One of the UN's goal is to protect global security, and since the end of the Cold War, there has been a dramatic decline in number of wars (Human Security Report). This is mostly, if not entirely, contributed to the work of the UN.

For an argument in the opponency, I can point out that choosing to intervene in independent nations in what choices they make may create war. However, that can easily be argued by the information I had listed above. Don't know how I can protect myself from that sort of argument.

My arguments are rather weak right now. Can someone help me out with their opinions? And how would you argue with my critieron?

I'm so depressed about growing up. I am 12, going to be 13 in a little over a month. I feel like I just want to be a little kid again, and it feels like my life is passing me by. Now I have so many problems that I didn't have when I was littler. It makes me so sad every time I see pictures from when I was younger, because I was so much happier back then. I cry all the time, because I don't want to be a teenager or grow up, but no one can do anything about it. What can I do so I'm not so depressed and sad?

They are so ugly!
None of them look like anyone I know, either.
Do you think they used composite photos of real faces?

Do you ever wake up, walk to the bathroom and you suddenly feel a sense of horrible 'staleness' and 'dread' about being here? It accumulates as you live your life, and then all at once, it just hits you.. a real slow-build thing. It's like 'oh man, am I still -here-? this tired-out old place? (and I'm not talking about your house) Does this place really exist? Another day, month, year, lifetime to go? Can it even end if you kill yourself, or will you be recycled back into another life, according to reincarnationists? Will you wake up in Hell, according to christians? Where -is- this place? We're all so trapped..

this guy who worls at the gym is rude. he once made a comment how i work out too much at the gym. he has laughed at my weights. i dont see him working out ever. in fact, he is a skinny bean pole. i am not really a feminist, but this is pissing me off. he has not said anything obvious ever since mentioning he thinks i work out too much, but when i come it i have seen him rolling his eyes. he is giving me the evil eyeball. i avoid going in now. because i also have a sense he watches me on the tv screen, since he made comments about my workouts and the only way hed know is if he was watching me. what would you do? would you ignore it? i think hes a sexist pig who thinks hes so clever by doing things i cant even report. if i said anything, hed probably say he cares and deny he rolls his eyes. i think hes a jerk.

Every time I get frustrated or very angry I burst out in tears. I try very hard to hold them back, but that only worsens the problem, because then I cry more. It is embarrassing because people assume that I am sad and weak, rather when I am about to scream and feel like punching a wall in (or in extreme cases someone's face). It is annoying and counter-productive and brings way much attention than I want. Is there a way to stop it? Are there any techniques that I can use to help lessen the tears?

Most anyone can answer who is the Father of Communism - a failed economic system. But who is the one whose ideas based our own flawed, yet flexible economic system? I am not just looking for a name here, but a rationale.
