Do you ever wake up, walk to the bathroom and you suddenly feel a sense of horrible 'staleness' and 'dread' about being here? It accumulates as you live your life, and then all at once, it just hits you.. a real slow-build thing. It's like 'oh man, am I still -here-? this tired-out old place? (and I'm not talking about your house) Does this place really exist? Another day, month, year, lifetime to go? Can it even end if you kill yourself, or will you be recycled back into another life, according to reincarnationists? Will you wake up in Hell, according to christians? Where -is- this place? We're all so trapped..

I've felt the feeling before, but then I realized that it was my own attitude that was bringing me down. There is plenty to be excited about in this life. I just have to look for the beauty in it. I firmly believe I am supposed to be here, as is everyone else, including you. There is a purpose in life, there must be. Science can prove my existence, and my religion helps me see the purpose for my existence. But I know not everyone agrees with Christianity, so I won't force-feed you any more of it. But I do believe that we're not just trapped here on Earth. You are indeed living, and you might as well make the most of your life. There are so many opportunities out there, for success, for happiness, for learning. You just have to seek them out and take advantage of them. It sounds corny, but sometimes optimism is the best way to go. Life is what you make it!

You need God, man. Atheists seem to have the whole world figured out, but once you get down to it, science says that we came into being by CHANCE. They say that our lives have no special purposes. Now if that's not a downer, I don't know what is.

So. Get a copy of the Holy Bible and go to church. While you're at it, pick up a copy of C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity. It just might be your ticket to figuring out what's up with the world.

All I can say is, we're not trapped. This phase of life is our preparation for the next (read: Heaven), so start livin' it up like a Christian!

There - is - hope!

I know well the feeling of nothing in life having any real worth. The worst thing is though, not evreryone realises how bad everything is. If you tell them, they may lose their lust 4 life also. My 11 year old son is suicidal, and i am certain that i am to blame for passing on my bad attitude. Pretend to be happy, to save the ones you love.

I think everyone's been there at one point or another.
