i can't decide to tell the person i'm with that my parents are deaf....i don't know how he will react...

Don't do it!!!! Trust me he's only with you for your hearing and if he finds out he'll drop you like a hot rock because he'll know your auditory capacity is a sham!!!!!

It would be surprising, anyway.But if he loves you ..it won't matter. That depends on how much he loves you. And how much he loves you depends on how good you are and how moral, then beautiful , etc.
You should say about it like a joke , in other not to scary him.
You could say something like this, when it comes to speak about your parents...''You know ..my parents don't hear quite well....''he will answer ..''oh..are they so old...?''and you will answer ..''No , but actually they don't hear at all...actually cannot hear. Probably because they are not interested to hear ..it is too much noise..around ..''
Things like this.
It is important that if your parents a deaf --you must be a better man then the others..an more moral.
So nobody shall say nothing against you..So first let someone be really in love with you.If he lets you down..don't worry...and be happy...and live happy..until you find the suitable person..that likes you...and doesn't bother about your parents..

Let me rephrase this question:
"Do you want to be with someone who would mind that your parents are deaf?"
Although I can't answer for you, I can answer for me (and quite a few other people) - I wouldn't want to be with someone who thought there was something wrong about having deaf parents or being deaf.
Tell him - I'm sure it will make no difference if he's a decent person.

Why would it matter? My Father is deaf and it never once occurred to me to "wonder" if I should tell any one. You parents arent deaf on purpose! If you think you'll be staying with this man he should love your parents just the way they are and start teaching him sign, so that he can talk to them himself!

They're deaf, what's the big deal? If someone, anyone is bothered by that, it's their problem, not yours. It's not as though you're telling someone that your parents are in the Witness Protection Program or that they are mobsters or fugitives. Just tell them. If they are good people they won't mind.

Go ahead and tell him. He is interested in you and i am sure he would make the effort to comunicate with them.
my girlfriends parents are both deaf, but both lipread really well. Good luck.

If he is the right one for you, it won't matter that your parents are deaf. Think of it more that they speak another language: ASL.

NO. If he loves you he will understand and it will be hard at first. But he may even take a few lessons on sign language from you. It could be fun and you could teach him something. If your afraid to tell him, i wouldnt be and if he leaves he isnt worth having you. If you plan on taking him over teach him how to say hi and his name first. its a start. You just might be the interperator and hopefully you dont mind.

he is with you not your parents and if he loves you he will not care if your parents are deaf he will just accept them and if he has got a problem with it he is not worth your time

Why should it matter? If it DOES matter to him, then his feelings for you weren't really that deep in the first place. But, something tells me that your significant other won't be bothered by the truth. Good luck to you in your relationship.

i have alot of deaf freinds i cant sign very well they under stand and we do our best to comunicate he should be ok with it unless he is a jerk then leave him
