If INFJs are so rare?

How come there are so many here? and all over the internet? It is the most common type I run into online. Websites and forums are literally crawling with INFJs. However, I am not sure whether I have ever met another INFJ in person (just online). Can anyone explain?

Because they (we?) are hiding behind the computers. Seriously. Its the ideal environment for an INFJ.

INFJs are rare, people desire to be like INFJs and when they test they answer more like what they would like to be than what they really are. I am a true INFJ.
