Go through the test once then do a reverse answer check top to bottom. The nice thing about math is that what you can do forward, you should be able to do backward ( 3+2=5, 5-3=2) and it is hard to make a silly mistake twice in two directions. It is why the teacher always says to check your work. By the time you get to geometry, math is no longer a speed drill but a complex, multifunction thought process of steps. Slow down and let good habits (always check) make up for bad moods.

Geometry was my best math subject in school. I had one of the best teachers in the world. We always had to take notes during class, and before a test, I would study my notes, and make like a self-test with questions and then I would answer them myself. If you don't have notes, look in your book for some help on problems, but for future reference, take notes, even though most Math teachers don't require it. Except for my first report card grade in Geometry(before I learned studying the notes), I got high B's to high A's. Good luck! I hope I helped. Also make sure and relax especially getting a good night's sleep before the test.

Every ones biological clock is different and there is validity in the universal laws that have scientific & mathematical equations---astrology, for instance. The main point that I am getting at is to not overwhelm yourself by trying to understand it all at once---just memorize it in order to pass your exam. The understanding will automatically come later. You also need to study when your mind is more mentally alert. I discovered that if I did my homework or studies after midnight that I retained it more efficiently in the morning with a quick rehash. Once you find the ideal time, you will not have "anxiety" or fear of test taking. F.E.A.R. is an acronym for false evidence appearing real and it is self inflicted.

Now don't laugh because it is true. Math is done by the left side of the brain. When you are doing a math test, now and then, hold down the left side of your nose so you will be breathing only out of the right side of your nose. This will transfer control to the left side of your brain.

Just think of geometry in simple terms.......shapes. What you get is common and it's called a mental block because your probably nervous. Like I said think shapes.....call your self a blockhead.
Invest just 10 minutes with your teacher twice a week after class having them explain what you don't understand...make short notes so you don't forget what to ask.

possibly you may attempt to take the fewer progressed pre calc classification, the extra math training you're doing, the extra effectual you would be. Maths is all approximately prepare, in case you prepare adequate, you would be sturdy at it. And in basic terms like the guy above me has been saying, attempt to circulate to the workplace hours of your prof in college, in the experience that your profs are wonderful, workplace hours are particularly efficient. sturdy success!
