Note: I'm a guy.

Should I be slightly insulted, I mean I'm not THAT incompetent.

of your problems? As I understand it, it is good to analyze how they raised you when you are an adult, but not good to just blame them. How is it possible to balance these and still be positive? Right now I'm 19.

Go about getting it by doing things with members of the opposite sex that you have specifically requested not be done? And if they do should I respond in a nonchalant manner, angry and hurt, or overaffectionate and apologetic?

Billionaires donate money to cancer research, education, victims of child abuse, etc. but does that money affect people in general economically? It seems like if billionaires give a lot of money to organizations which do not benefit individuals economically instead of just spending it, then people will be poorer. Obviously the amount of money donated in relation to the amount of money in the U.S. economy is miniscule so we would not notice any change but if people become more generous by giving more to organizations which do not make money, would this hurt the economy?

Call this question what you want, but I am curious as to whether civilizations like this still exist and where. My question was inspired by that credit card commercial where the man takes his family on vacation to an island where there is a tribe of indeginous people.

I am having many distubing dreams, some about my grandmother who past away last year, some where I am fighting against some sort of armed group of men which tends to be very violent, & some where I wake of up feeling as if I am suffocating & gasping for air * scared beyond... well more scared than I have ever been while conscious, much more, when I am confronted in my dream by a blonde haired little person.

my grand mother died just last june23, 2006....
but until now i feel that i'm still not that aware that she died...
at the deepest part of my unconsciousness i know i'm still not aware and everytime i'm starting to understand again that she's really gone i will start crying like as if that was the first time i found out that she has died...
after her burial, i went out on some dates and i did go out a lot... i dont why there is a part of my mind keep on denying that my grandmother is already dead...
sometimes i'll just find myself hoping that she'll be around just like before...
i love her of course...
is everyone experiencing thiz way when their loved-ones died?
am i still normal?

ok, so I wasn't feeling well this afternoon so I took a nap and had this really weird dream. (I'm not crazy as far as I know)

ok, here goes

It was me (a smaller younger version of me) and this other guy I didn't know in this kind of run down city. We were going along in some kind of car when we were stopped by these guys that looked kind of military-esque and had dark grey uniforms and in my dream I had a bad feeling whenever I was around one. They had us pull over for some reason. The guy I was with got out and started talking to the army-like guys. Then all of a sudden these riots started up. There were all these people dressed in plain-clothes and they started making weapons out of dust (like huge guns, artillery). They were fighting the army guys and the guy I was with got back in the car and we got the hell out of there. I'm guessing he was in some kind of trouble because the army guys started chasing us. We drove into these hills and found a shrine to some godess (see details)

hi all, I'm 15 and all my thoughts are of death. Because of that my mood is changing and I'm always having strange feelings. Since I have started thinking of death , I became extremly anxious and I relate everything to death although I hate it and I don't want that it happen to me. I relate the cloudy weather , my mood who is changing from time to time and my feelings to death. While I was sleeping I saw a dream about school and it was pretty long so when I woke up I felt that yesterday was tooo long so I became very very anxious and I thought that I'm dying.
Could anybody help me ?

Is it really being idealistic to always tell the truth or just having integrity? is it idealism to love everybody or just a maturing of your love? I don't think Ghandi was idealistic because he lived everything he preached. But I don't see many people living what they believe (or claim to believe) in the name of idealism. Imagine if everybody who preached against pride and prejudice actually practiced it. Isn't idealism just an excuse? or are we as humans not as free to live our lives as we choose? enlighten me please.

most countries including the united states import substantial amounts of goods and services from other countries. yet ch 25 of mankiw's principles of economics (3rd edition) says that a nation can enjoy a high standard of living only if it can produce a large quantity of goods and services itself.

I have a good friend who has a really hard time facing reality. The slightest honest opinion I make can get him a bit upset for a while. He gets put down easily, and it's often hard for me to reach him when he does because he rears away from me. What can I do to allow him to become more openminded to other people's ideas and more tolerant towards harshness? He seems to shut himself away. AND everytime he does that, I FEEL SO BAD about myself like I've done something wrong. Please help. >__<
