Go about getting it by doing things with members of the opposite sex that you have specifically requested not be done? And if they do should I respond in a nonchalant manner, angry and hurt, or overaffectionate and apologetic?

And what should i do if i am the one living in their house? And since they are not "cheating" technically, more like doing errands for others, i get told im just selfish and jealous when i speak my mind. Besides all that i actually love this person and i know they are having some issues but i would like to help them with that; is it hopeless?

Sounds like cheating and you should respond by ending the relationship.

You shouldn't be together because a true relationship is love between two people, not 3 or 4. Faithfullneess and communication is key to a sucessful relationship.

Trish, Your lover has to be TAUGHT how to treat you. You have to clearly spell out what you need him or her to do for you over and over again. It's a learning process. After 15 years I've got my husband so clued in on my needs that he never has to wonder what makes me happy anymore. People want to make others happy. Why do we believe that just because someone loves us that they should magically know how to treat us ? Is love supposed to give us telepathy ? Well, it doesn't !When I can't seem to talk out my needs I'll write them in a letter to him. Good Luck.

While they are not there pack their belonging and set them on the door step and get the locks changed. Then go enjoy an evening with your friends.

You should be angry and end the relationship.
If you weren't giving them what they needed then they should have left you, not cheat on you.

No playing those types of games!!!! It's simply immature and insulting. If this is valid and not just someone being overly "needy", just open your mouth and say something!
