I am having many distubing dreams, some about my grandmother who past away last year, some where I am fighting against some sort of armed group of men which tends to be very violent, & some where I wake of up feeling as if I am suffocating & gasping for air * scared beyond... well more scared than I have ever been while conscious, much more, when I am confronted in my dream by a blonde haired little person.

Often nightmares are caused by stress, traumatic experiences, emotional difficulties, drugs or medication, or illness. However, some people have frequent nightmares that seem unrelated to their waking lives. Recent studies suggest that these people tend to be more open, sensitive, trusting, and emotional than average.
Violent dreams are relatively common and may be a reflection of the confusion and conflict that the dreamer experiences in daily life. Dreams with violent themes suggest that the dreamer has unconscious negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, and anger. If you are not dealing with these feeling consciously, your dreams are compensating and bringing into awareness the need for honest reflection and emotional balance in daily life.

Words in your question of " fighting against " , " confronted ". . . feeling as if ' suffocating ", " scared " when you wake up, "

Maybe a way of how to ' cure ' yourself of these bad dreams is to open yourself to thought of what are you ' fighting against ', feeling ' confronted ', ' suffocating ', ' scared ' of in your life.

Dreams have a way of placing a message on our soul's path that needs to be seen, dealt with, vulnerably felt . . . so as to deal with that particular ' issue '. Once the ' issue ' has been discovered and felt . . . that ' issue ' is learned from and thus peace is felt again . . . thus the 'bad dreams' go away (cured).
