is there really islands where tribes of uncivilized people still exist?

Call this question what you want, but I am curious as to whether civilizations like this still exist and where. My question was inspired by that credit card commercial where the man takes his family on vacation to an island where there is a tribe of indeginous people.

Don't call them uncivilized, that term is long gone from the scientific community and should do the same in vulgar English, or any other language for that matter. They are less complex societies and to them you might be the uncivilized to their cannon of whats normal.

Yes, there are many examples still living on the Amazonian jungle, the Pacific South, Australia... We should just let them be and try not to "civilize" them because their lifestyle is older than any of our modern societies and have less conflicts with each other than us. We should learn from them to stop worrying about material possession and start caring for the common and greater good.

Sure! There are many islands in the Pacific Ocean, in places like the Somoa Islands, were people still congregate in tribes.

Not just islands, but tropical areas along the Amazon River in South America, and places in Africa, also host tribes...

there still is just few and far between ..if there is a group that are unknown or not civilized they stay that way because they are not known or forbid contact with the outside world..i would imagine even in the US there are ones that we will never know about nor will be found because they dont want to be found.They have become very good at avoiding other humans especially the ones in cars or that look different from them.They know we are trouble.

i may be extra questioning approximately druglords or something like this, tribes regularly dont exist anymore on the instant on islands. the two they're completely abandoned or occupied via somebody else. yet whilst u run into Natives possibilities are high decrease on an island, simply by fact theyr considerable nutrition supply would be fish and end result.

There are some peoples on islands near Bali and Java that have had no contact with the modern world, nor do they want any. In some ways, I think they almost have it better than we do.

North Sentinel Island. The tribe living on the island is still basically preneolithic and has not made any contact with outside world, as they have attacked any who try to land or communicate with them
