Lot of civilizations have been lost. For ex., Greek, Egyptian. Isn't it ironical that we would like to visit those that are not there anymore and 'bash' the ones that are alive?. Take for ex., Hindu Civilization. It's as ancient as any of the above and is still alive. It's products like Yoga, Ayurveda, Kamasutra, Vedic Mathematics are much advanced than current.

I don't know what they are named but the people who built Teotihuacan. They aren't Aztec or INcan or Mayan. They were really advanced and were before the Aztecs.

I'd probably be back in Rome when the Roman Legions stretched from the deserts of Persia to the northern tip of Great Britain where Hadrian wall is situated.
Great learning experience

I still think I would want to see Jesus around 5 or 6 A.D., but now I'm thinking it would be too hard to live at that time. I do wonder what He was like as a child though. You Made Me Remember That!! (Want to see what answers you get) @8-)

Ancient Greece -- that's about the only ancient environment that wouldn't totally suck and where they MIGHT not kill you as soon as they see you.
