I have a terrible fear of being cheated on and my boyfriend was talking to an ex and its stirred up alot of fear and anxiety. I am creating scenerios in my head like you cant imagine. he is a wonderful boyfriend. im afraid to trust him entirely now, he changed his phone number and everything. but nothing is helping me. do u think that alot of this is pent up childhood emotions. my father left when i was 7 and he cheated on my mother.
help!!!!! im thinking of going to therapy?

I've just broken up with a pretty abusive person. I am having trouble concentrating. I have so much to do. I have wanted out of this for so long and I'm not heartbroken. I'm lost. My life has shifted and I know in time I will see this as a much needed breath of fresh air. I just feel drained and tired and anxious. If I could get lost in my work, I think that would be best. I'd like to work as many long hours as I have to to get through to the other side. But I can't concentrate. Any thoughts?

My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. But i kept silent and he again abused me through mesgs tht im a prosti**te. He told me he wants to slap me n abuse me . When 2 mesgs were sent by chance to him by me, He abused me n mesgd tht if another mesg i send...he will break my hands n abused me. Why does he abuse me???I replied tht im very much scared of him n to keep away from me . The place where i work (in an office) has just had security cameras fitted everywhere. 3 people have passwords to access the CTV on there computers. One of my workmates told me that one of the cameras that is facing my office (i sit in at the window) can zoom in on me and see exactley what i'm doing. Now i feel really uncomfortable cos i never know if i am being watched or not. Even though i'm not doing anything wrong i feel awkward and i am always consious of what im doing. I'm really paranoid aswell i feel like one of them could be sat there just watching me and laughing at me. One of the managers is a bit of a perv aswell so that makes me feel even worse. Nobody else has the camera directly at them and they cant be seen all the time. I know it sounds silly but aint it spying. i am sat at my desk all day in the same spot. Are they alllowed t do this?

I had this dream since I was very young, I would say age 7-8. Now I am nearly 30 and yet I am dreaming the same dream from long time ago. Sometimes 2 years go pass, sometimes a week but it keeps repeating...
It is this house in a vilage that my parents lived in before I was born. They still owned a part of the house up until I was 12 ish, it was shared with other members of the family. Nobody lived there on permanent bases. There was a large garden for fruit and vegetables that the family used to plant on.
Yes it was in need of decorating, but it didn't look like something out of a horror movie. I was never scared when I was there, still was going there as normal even tho the dream had started, and there is nothing traumatic ever hapening there that I remember.
I dream I enter inside, straight away I can hear an owl in the loft, breathing. It is cold and I feel scared, I run outside, the garden is empty and burned from the sun, I scream and run, no one around...I wake up in sweat.

why is it that some women expect you to be more or less a woman around her, and a man everywhere else? Seriously. He gets points chalked off her little scoreboard for not being as soft, yielding, sensitive and intuitive as she is, but is expected to be ruthlessly competitive in the workplace or in business. He's expected to help out with household drudgery - washing dishes and changing diapers and what not, but will get looked at like he has three heads if he tells his wife to empty a rat trap or put brakes on the car. He's expected to ignore her irrational and hurtful "time of the month" hormonally driven outbursts, but has his own testosterone-driven fits of temper internalized and gets a life sentence for them. He's expected to be a man (big time) if his wife gets pawed in the Wal-Mart parking lot (and BELIEVE ME, that's when no woman wants you to slink off to a safe distance and call 911), but is expected to roll over like a putz when she tries to push him around and remake him.

A few years back I had a strange experience. I was laying in bed on my side with my 3 year old daughter, i fell asleep for a few minutes. I knew I had woken up...but i could not move. My back was facing my daughter and it felt like I had arms around me, a horrifying force holding me down. I could see down my hallway so I know I was awake..it was the most frightening thing i have ever expierenced. i wanted to move..to get up but i couldn't and it has never happened again....I do dream alot..but since i do..i'm pretty confident as to when i'm awake and when i'm dreaming..any input would be appreciated as I have been dwelling on this recently and can't seem to let it go....

Last night I had this dream... I'm in a garden with Kim (a friend who I acually know) who has a gun with her, but then her phone rings so she answers n I run away. She follows me, till I reach a pool, I run around it, till I see Kim following me, so I stop, then I say some thing (dont remember what) and then Kim throws something black into the pool and we both jump in, and try to get it, I get it first and then jump out of the pool, I start running around the garden, and Kim follows me.
