I'd say 33%. even the most attentive people can only retain limited information in their short term memory. even a five minute speech could contain numerous pages of information. most people could only repeat the main idea of the speech. very few, if any could recite the speech, or even part of it the same way. it's a right and left lobe of the brain conflict. one side wants to listen to the words themselves, while the other listens to the meaning of the words, in most cases the two rarely work together.
