I mean, if you dress slutty, you are highly likely to get raped than a women who dresses modestly.

I am not against of what any women wear. In fact, i like it when a women dresses hot. But I think they should take some of the blame. Yeah, men should take most of the blame, but I think women should take a little also.

Note: I am NOT a raper.

I heard that witnesses to a crime, or even people that were in the vicinity of a crimescene, could be hypnotized, and reveal information that's in the subconscious. Eg, everyone must have seened the killer enter, but instantly forgot his face, as he was just a passer by. Hyponosis can go back to that moment, and recall his face and such. Is this true? If so, why don't u ever hear on the news that hypotizing witnesses solved a crime.

Is it possible for a person to literally FEEL the hurt of another within minutes..seconds even? No condescending or sarcastic answers please. Has life ever put you in a position DAILY to care for a stranger? To literally hear their tale...and know it's not a pity party....and to ask God for them to have peace? I'm no Dudley Do-Right..But it seems I've developed a bit of a.....knack for talking to people about the most emotionally paralyzing subjects, and making them smile a bit....

I'm writing a psychology article review, and need to include a definition given in the article, but the definition is cited from another work. I've tried looking in my APA manual, but I'm still a little unclear.

I'm writing an essay for my ethics class on an essay be Margaret Battin entitled Sex & Consequences, in which she argues for compulsive contraceptives, such as the IUD and Norplant, for every women in the world to prevent more population growth. She likens it to vaccination and how we forced vaccination for the public good, so we should force this for the public good. The idea behind it is that during high school, you must have one to be admitted similar to vaccinations, and when you are ready to become pregnant, you go to the doctor to get the device removed, so it prevents unwanted pregnancy completely.

My essay is an argument against this because of the clear violation of rights, but I wanted to take an informal poll to know how women would feel about this so I can get an idea of the cultural implications this would have. Please state what country you are from as well to give me a better idea. Post in support of or against her idea. Thank you.

I have known my step daughters for 10 years they are now 27 and 30. I dislike the younger because she has always been selfish, vain ,rude and chilly(True Ice Princess). I have grown to dislike the elder because of the years of lies and hardships she has caused. I have been good to both and have been the family emotional punching bag until recently. I have had enough and I am tired. Their father will not try to help. I have tried to change my attitude, but I grow to dislike them with each attempt. I pretend to be interested when they call and I am nice when they are present. I literally get knots in my stomach and become quite tense and unhappy when there is going to be a family get together. My husband is of no use and he is aware of the issues. Yes, we have all shared our feelings and could never get past the anger and resentment. I am sure they would like me to disappear too, so what do I do?

Can't countries like Australia and USA just give them money to build schools, hospitals, houses etc? I know we do, but how come we don't give them enough to get them established and be able to run their own countries without the terrible living conditions. The governments surely could spare a few billion dollars?
How come it doesn't work like that?

I've been surfing around yahoo answers for a little while now, and I've noticed that a lot of people seem really closed minded about some topics, especially things like sex and politics.

Now, I know these are really sensitive subjects with everybody, but what disturbs me is that the closed minded people always undoubtedly seem Christian (No, I'm not saying ALL Christians are closed minded)

It just bugs me that whenever they find something they don't agree with, they always make some comment about "I'll pray for you" after they say that the person asking the question needs psychological help.

Am I the only person to notice this?

I work part time and on the weekend at most times there are instances where bad thought s come into my mind and make me stressed and upset even when there is no reason to be at all.
How can I get my thoughts on track and count my blessings because when I go back to work I often feel drained from being so stressed.

I wish I could be peaceful and enjoy my weekends but I always need to be busy and I have hard time being still except when I am reading or praying this has been going on for a long time and I really want to go forward and move on.

I am ashamed I get these racing thoughts because I am blessed What can I do to be a better person and control or overcome this?
This has been bothering me for years and I want to change I just never knew how to put what I felt into words until now.
