It depends what kind of rain.
If it is a sudden, big, short-lived storm, I am excited and anxious.
If it has been a long time since the last rain, I am happy.
If it has rained for a long time, I get depressed and tired.
The best rain is a nice, gentle, warm rain that lasts only a short while and is followed by a glorious clear, blue sky - so nice.

I love rainy days. I want to stay in my room,, curl up in bed with a good book and listen to the rain come down. Yes, it is absolutely soothing and like you, I dont know why...it just works. I think rain is a good reason to not have any work to do and it seems to give you permission to not do chores or even go to work..weather is too bad, Rain is a good reason to give ourselves time to ourselves without feeling guilty. We need the rest and the security.

I also like it when it rains. I always figure it is because I was raised on a farm. But it might be a basic instinct. Rain means life.

It makes me tired. I've noticed that the rain does that to a lot of people. If fact when it rained yesterday, I dozed off for 10 mins until the person next to me woke me up.

It makes me feel tired, and like I weigh a 1,000 lbs. Some days I feel like snuggling up and going to sleep.
