My friend is a Sociology nut and I think he'd love a Sociology-themed calendar for Christmas this year. Do you know of any place I can find one online?

If morgage lenders all decided they were not going to link any of their mortgage offerings to the base rate, wouldn't this just mean the BoE would have no control & noone would care what their base-rate is?
Why aren't lending interest rates solely controlled by competitive forces between lenders, like many other prices in our consumer-driven society?

I'm going through a depression stage right now in my life. I used to do so much extracurricular activites and I've quit all of them. My last bet was piano and my parents just cancelled it because they feel like I have no interest. Whenever people ask me if I'm still doing these activities, I always have to say "no". I feel like a complete failure with no guide or special interests. I don't know whats wrong with me and it upsets me that I feel like I have nothing. Can somebody help me understand why I'm feeling this way? What am I doing wrong?

How do you know if you've crossed the above line? What exactly considers you a nymphomaniac? I know the dictionary explanation but is there really such a problem as nymphomania? There is so much more for me to explain but some answers that will be given are bound to be rude and pointless. I'll wait for the right person to answer this question to explain further.

Have you ever noticed that? I remember doing it as a child and now that I think about it, it doesn't make any sense. Are children taught to do this or do they see it on tv or is it just something that has to do with child development?

A *uterus transplant* may be possible!

I'm about to have mine taken out next year because it's defective, and I never intended to get any use out of it, but....wow....this is interesting.

Here's an article about it:

I'm not referring to insomnia...however, I do believe this might be under the classification of a sleeping disorder. Anyway, the person cannot go to sleep. There is something physically preventing them from sleeping, and they never sleep. I know that it eventually leads to death, and that it's rare. Forgive me if my details are a bit sketchy or not accurate; however, I don't remember much about it, I just remember discussing it in one of my classes about a year or so ago. I put this in the Psychology section, because I learned about it in a Psychology class. Anyone know what i'm talking about, and could possibly give me the clinical name for it, so that I could read more about it? Thanks!
