I am a pharmacology student and I have to kill and harm animals for scientific purposes. If you have done that, how could you get used to that? Of course I understand WHY i have to do that, but still my voice of conscience is telling me that I shouldn't be the one who decides who's life is more important - mine or the rat's. So, how can you get over it?

Why do the toads sit still in the middle of the sidewalk? Are they sleeping? I nudged one, and it still didn't move. And those big red centipedes (yellow legs) freak me out. Are they known to sting people? I took a late night stroll. lol
