Lions or cats in general
They kill the cubs,don't help in raising the family.

actually some of u are wrong. Male lions only kill the cubs (and not specifically male cubs) if they were fathered by another lion. They do this (its called infantcide) when they take over a new pride, after fighting and conquering the residedent male, to bring the female back into oestrous again, thereby producing his own offspring. To their own cubs they are actually very gentle. It is a male lions job to look after his pride. He will be challeneged on a regular basis to defend this pride,, often with serious or fatal consequesnces. The females are responsible for hunting. Overall, Id say the females get the better deal!

Zeus was a philandering rapist and neglectful towards his children at best, downright abusive at worst. He frankly didn't care, all Greek gods without exception acted like a bunch of spoiled mortals with fancy powers. Usually when he acted out of compassion towards his numerous offspring is because it made HIM look bad when his children were disrespected because it was an insult to the house of Zeus. There are tones of stories and fables I could tell you, and believe you me I have quite a few....but lets not waste time here... Some of his actions are actually reminiscent of Venus in Virgil’s aeneid, who went out of her way to help her son but generally ended up making his life worse, perhaps Zeus was powerless to do anything, the Greek gods after all were essentially metaphorical vessels used as a device to explain that you can't cheat destiny, the physical God concept came later... @Hercule...- Asclepius was killed because he was reviving the dead and thus stealing from Hades who complained to Zeus to stop him.

No seriously, based on my experiences with pets, I would say that cats make the worst fathers. My female cat has had two litters of kittens, both fathered by a tom living 2 streets away. He now fights with one of his daughters I kept! I dont think he even knows he is her dad!!!!

Lions and Humans.
Lions because they can't be bothered to do much more than father the cubs and let the lionesses do the rest they can't even share the same space with their cubs. But they can't help it, its their nature.
Humans... well pretty much for the same reasons except they can help it they just don't want to.

I would say the males in the cat family(housecats, lions, tigers etc) would be the worse fathers because they kill the baby males of their species.

cheetahs because after their cubs are born the either eat the cub or if the mother protects the cub the father will leave

Thats a fun question, I would say aligators because they eat their young sometimes. The same goes with mothers.

Lions....after they inpregnate the lioness, they leave the pride, and let the lionesses take care of the young, and do all the hunting for the lion.
