I've always went by: King Phillip called out for great sex. Oddly enough, I learned that in Catholic school ... go figure?

Genus
Species

There are sub- and super- levels as well, which have muddled up the taxonomic system to a degree or two.

I learned it using the phrase "King Phillip Came Over For Green Soup." The first letters correspond to the seven levels of classification: kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species.

The other answerers have already told you the pnemonics for learning them - keep in mind though Domain should rest above Kingdom in any modern system of classification. There are always extra steps such as sub-class, super-order and tribes as well.
