how does one prepare a live butterfly for mounting? ie: wings to be spread opened as opposed to being closed.?

I love animals and i cant seem to find the perfect job i want to do.I love big cats like lions,tigers,leapords,and all those but i dont know what job to do to work with wild animals or big cats.

Why only bed bugs, almost every creepy bug know where exactly to have a bite on human... How do they know - is it their research or by Instinct...

I think I found an extinct bird?

I think i saw a passenger pigeon or a bird very similar to it. this bird is supposed to be extinct. i have been occasionally seeing this bird. I havent been able to keep track of it but i have noticed for about a year now. i checked out websites to see the physical features and such of the bird and it resembles it quite well. is it possible that an extinct bird is not really extinct or could i have been mistaken?

Found this weird insect outside. Wondering what it is?!? Location: Plains of Colorado?

We found this bug outside our house. It is about an inch long. Looks like it has 6 legs and 4 antenna...however, 2 of the antenna could be legs...but it doens't look like he/she walks on them. It also appears to have NO eyes. It's mouth looks like 4-prong beak. Two on the top, two on the bottom. It isn't a red as it looks in the pictures on the following web site...but is more brownish-tan with a darker brown "butt". It would be nice to know what this is...since it's sooo big and strange looking. Any help would be appreciated.

What was this bug I saw?

I was in our garage and saw this bug or beetle on the floor- it was large, probably an inch long and half an inch wide, and built like a tenk- greenish-brown and seemed very lethargic
