Apparently you missed the part of the show where they stated that this was not a scientific finding. It was simply a flight of fancy that applied science to the dragon lore to see if it could even be remotely possible. There has never been any evidence that dragons have ever truly existed. Nor has their been any proof that they didn't exist, although many hypothesis exist that attempt to explain them as myths.

The Discovery Channel program was a very well thought out and excellently "what-if" scenario. It was also very well graphically. But again the only science in the program was based on fantasy.

Discovery's dragons were based on whether or not dragons were possible. Their anatomy and such. They out science behind the idea of the dragon, whether or not dragons actually exist is still a mystery.
