I have heard that the RedYeti became extinct because the male of the species refused to breed with the female of the species. I also heard that the last known RedYeti is in captivity and that efforts to cross-breed with like genus species have been of no success since he "prefers the company of men".

Why are Porpoise’s constantly referred to as Dolphins, even on the Discovery & National Geographic Channel's?

Nothing at all like the bottle nosed porpoise or any of the other species of porpoise's that the term "Dolphin" is regularly applied to,
am I the only one who notices this?

Are Monarchs the only butterfly that eats butterfly weed?

We found a caterpillar on a butterfly weed plant and I know it is not a Monarch. It is black and has "hair" like things sticking out here and there.

What is the coolest wildlife or nature experience you have had in North America?

I live in Canada and have been all over the country. I have also spent some time in the United States. I find that the North American wildlife is pretty diverse and beautiful, lots of people think that in order to have amazing wildlife encounters you have to go on Safari, what is your coolest experience?
