1. Can such Airborne Fish Finder can direct fishing boats on the ground to a specific location?
2. Do different types of fishes actually have some kind of spectral emission or radiation that can be detected using such aerial payload?
3. Can such aerial payload build up an electronic data base on fishes in a particular geography, and then try to compare known signatures everytime it detects a signature?
4. Would such signature be known as a species specific frequency, signature, emission or anything else, I mean technically?
5. If such a payload does exist, can it be effective airborne alone, or does it have to "shakehand" with a water based SONAR to get better accuracy?
6. Can such a payload give information regarding the species, speed of travelling, direction, depth, approximate school size?

Hi,

I just hit a little tiny bat with my tennis racket. It was getting dark and he just flew right into my racket together with the ball. He is alive, but he can't fly. Maybe his wing is broken or something. I took him home and put him in small wicker basket in dark room. Is there anything I can do to help him?!! I feel so bad, I am never gonna play tennis till that late in the night. Please, advise!! tks

In the 50"s to the mid 60's I found horned lizards around Oklahoma City along a corridor either side now marked by I-35 all the way south to San Antonio, Tx..very few east of that line..very numerous west of that line. Appear to be extinct in that area now, have found a few 200 to 300 miles west of that line in western Oklahoma and in far west Tx and in The southern half of New Mexico. Has anyone seen any in Oklahoma, Tx or New Mexico?
I Have been observing them along with the decline of box turtles, frogs, snakes and other lizards since 1952. I am Interrested in your sightings....Betty & Lee Edgemon of Tx.

There is a safe refuge about 50 metres away.

Is it better to:

a. Remain perfectly immobile;
b. Move very slowly in the direction of the refuge, keeping my back away from the tiger at all times;
c. Run directly at the tiger with arms flailing, yelling various random song lyrics as loudly as possible?

In general (impossible though that is), would the strategy of doing something as 'unpreylike as possible' deter a wild carnivore better than standing still, assuming physical escape is impossible?

This insect was spotted in Northeastern Ontario Canada on the edges of a nearby lake. I am glad I had my camera because I have never seen another like it!
