You interact with your unborn child just by being you...your baby listens to you all the time and is very aware of what you are doing. In the last part of your pregnancy the baby is even more aware...my friends baby loved to listen to her mother sing...and she use to dance before the baby was born. When her child was about one and a half she would start to dance in her highchair when he mother would play that same music that she played while her baby was inutero. You can look up "How to talk to your baby in utero"

when I was pregnant with my youngest ( now 17 )........I was stuck on ONE music album for the entire pregnancy........I played it over and over......sometimes blasting it..........it was crazy.....all day, all night.....I was driving my family crazy. After the baby was born, if she was cranky...or fussy......and even when she was inconsolable, all I had to do was play that album, turn up the volume...and she quieted right down !!!!

sorry, I don't have much information on professional studies, or books.....but wanted to share my experience.......yes!!! Babies can interact with their environment from inside the womb...
