If you have two places, both of them are 90 degrees, but place A has lower humidity than place B, then place A is supposed to be cooler somehow?

Last year(2005) I observed that the heat would last till 4:00pm and like clock works it would dissipate from then. Does this mean the sun has to deal with it or the magnetism? This year(2006) like clock work it dissipates till 6:00pm. I highly doubt that the sun would have anything to do with it. I think that the magnetism has more to deal with it and works like a cover shield. The shield is moving so that cover is less. Which brings me to my main question. What do you people think will happen next year with the heat? Will it go up another two hours till dissipation time? I hope the scientists compare notes on the heat index of 89 and the heat of 2006 because maybe this will be a repeat of 1989. It might be a cycle of this magnetic force blocking the sun.

Since they've already had Alberto & Beryl, Chris is next on the hurricane list & that's my name! Actually, my real name's Christopher but I like Chris cuz it's simple. But let's say we get hit by a Chris here in Houston -- will I have to go back to Christopher? I mean, I couldn't live w/myself if I "killed" my friends who didn't evacuate & tore up everybody's house cuz that would be like a Katrina living in New Orleans or a Rita living in Beaumont. What'll I do if my name becomes a bad storm?

"Energy cannot be created or destroyed, merely change form" or something along those lines.
My questions are
1) Is the Wind classified as an energy? If so, is it kinetic?
2) How is the WInd created? From what other form of energy is it changed from?

If it's 98 degrees & I have 4 children, Drop 1 off at the pool, 2 at the skate park, take 1 grocery shopping with me where we see 2 neighbors and somehow get stuck with 3 extra kids for 4 hours, how many margaritas should I drink before I decide to chunk these monsters in the nearest dumpster?

I heard that the eye of the hurricane is the worst place in the entire storm. Do you know why this is.

I live in California and we are in a stage 2 emergency right now. If we reach stage 3 we will start experiencing rolling blackouts...and I really don't want that.

I have my AC on 78 with the "engergy saver" feature turned on, and a fan running. Are there any other little things I could be doing to conserve energy?

I have had the fear of thunder and lightning since childhood. The loud sound of thunder and the bright light from lightning frightens me so bad that I can't function. I was told by my mother that while she was pregnant with me she too had a fear of thunder and ligtning as well. Any solutions?

i've been told that becuase of all the crappy weather that weve had in florida, were less likely to have a hurricane. in a month, id say weve had maybe 5 really nice sunny days, and the majority of them ugly, rainy days, which is very unusual for florida, let alone south florida. does that mean anything?
