It is the only calm part of a hurricane. If you are unlucky enough to be in the dead center a the storm, the eye gives you about 20 of relief before the second half of the storm begins again.

The eye of the hurricane is a clear, calm spot in the middle of the storm. If you are in the eye of the hurricane you are experiencing nice weather. If you had to be in a hurricane that would be the place to be, if you could stay in the eye, that is.

The eye is sunny and bright.(during the day) The worst part is on the right side of the storm.Winds are greater because you add the speed of the wind to the speed that the hurricane is traveling. The lowest pressure of the hurricane is in the center.Hurricanes spin counterclockwise.

No the eye of the hurricane is calm. The eye-wall is the worst part. Just like with an ice skater spinning faster if they draw their arms in close to their body, the hurricane is spinning fastest at the eye wall.

If you were directly below the eye of a hurricane and looked up, you'd be able to see the blue sky. The eye is the calmest part of a storm.

Worst part ? It can be put this way . Eye of a hurricane is the place where maximum humidity level is available. We can say it is the real source of energy for a hurricane.

No, the eye is a pretty nice place.
AFTER the eye, and just around the eye, is the worst place. That is where your strongest storm winds and tornados form. The eye is a very calm, and very eerie place to be. You can actually see a clear line of the storm.
I have been in a couple.

No, I'm pretty sure that its the north-east quadrant of the storm that's the worst (if that's not the one its definitely one of the quadrants). The only thing that the eye does is that you have the first half of the storm with winds blowing one direction, then the second half of the storm with winds blowing the other direction. It can tear stuff up more when the wind direction changes.

I was in the eye of Hurricane Katrina and we didn't get as much damage as the people in the east side of the storm. You can see what it is in the eye of the storm on my Huricane Katrina album on my 360 page.

No... actually, the eye is the most calm and peaceful part of the entire storm. Maybe the dangerous part is knowing that you went through h*ll and you're gonna have to go through it all again when the eye passes.
