Well i live SW of New Orleans and my name is Christopher too. There has been many Hurricanes that are named Chris before. of course they have not be as bad as Katrina or Rita. You don't need to change your name OK cause they will get your new name in there one day and you will be in the same position again. So don't worry about it. If you need to talk to a follow Christopher just Im me.

You know Chris, when I was 12 in 1995 I was in the 6th grade, which was when they taught hurricane tracking. So wouldn't you know we had to chart a Hurricane Iris everyday for awhile? That was all the kids needed to pick on me even more than usual because not only was I "Iris the Virus," I was now "Hurricane Iris." If people don't like you, they'll find every excuse in the book to make fun of you no matter what your name, so just be glad nobody hates you (which is impossible) as much as the world hates me because I'm Iris, I think like Iris, and there's NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT!!! So just keep on buckling under peer pressure, letting society mold you into whatever they want you to be, and you'll never be criticized for your name or anything else.

Actually, I too was called "Cyrus the Virus," but did I ever give a rats what they said? No. I think it might be cool if a Hurricane Chris was so bad it had to be retired cuz then it might come back in 2012 as a Hurricane Cyrus! Then MAYBE somebody else would name their kid this weirdass name my parents gave me.

World-class skater Katrina Hacker has not changed her name. She did not change her name because of people who break into your computer and cause mischief. And she did not change it last year after the levees broke around New Orleans. People usually ignore such name coincidences. They certainly did not expect that she could break into the clouds of last year's 11th storm and shut that hurricane down. Keep your name.

Uh, you seem to need more help than worrying about a name change. No, kid, you won't have to change your name if a hurricane is named Chris. Are you for real?

This dude is in my good 7 rappers. He have been given decent lyrics(no longer something like Soulja Boy, yet no longer something like Nas) He has an incredible circulate, and he ingredients a solid feelin once you pay attention to his voice....He knows the thank you to rap. he's between the few rappers together with his style of slang which could rap particularly nicely. i'm happy I witnessed his first years in hip-hop, because of fact i do no longer see him falling off each time quickly.

No. Meteorologists named hurricanes after someone in a country where he/she lives in. Like hurricane Jeanne, she was named after a girl.

No, you would not have to change your name. It really doesn't matter if its your name, because there are hundreds of other people named Chris.

Tell your friends it was the other fellow and not you. That way you won't have to change your name.
