My mom was having some pain at her joint, after consulting a doctor, the doctor told her that she has bone spur. The doctor gave her some medicine and told her that if medication couldn't help to improve the condition, she'll have to undergo operation.

I did some research online. according to what I've found, bone spur cannot be 100% cured. Even after operation, it still has the tendency to relapse. There is no medicine will 100% make bone spurs disappear, if it does, bones in our body will disappear too!!!

However, my mom come accross someone making some paste plaster to be stick to the bone spurs area to "cure" it. I feel sceptical about it. I think the medical paste comes fr soem sort of chinese herbs. They claim bone spurs can be cured after apply 2 months.

Has anyone heard about this kind of treatment, or is it true? How can it make bone spurs "disappear"?

If Natural Selection is true, then does that mean that obese people will eventually start to die?

I know this question seems a bit narrow-minded, but if you saw an obese rat, you wouldn't think that it could even last a few weeks out in the wilderness.

If you take away all the factors such as surgery, mobility, etc., will the world be rid of obesity once and for all?

Hi, I'm doing a high school "case study" project and I need to determine a diagnosis for my case. To make a long story short, my patient had a pH blood level test done and the results came back indicating it was high. What does that mean? Does that suggest an infection, or maybe cancer?

What causes a basic change in pH? (in the blood)

This is for something I'm writing, not a real case of ear infection. I don't need any other advice or info about seeing a doctor, taking alternative medicines, etc. Just, specific antibiotics, and specific costs. (And I know costs vary. It doesn't matter. I'm still asking for specific prices- I don't care if they're high end, low end, or middle.)

Plasma Donation?
I'm donating plasma tomorrow at 1145am and am a little worried. My family has told me not to do it. My aunt and uncle think that it will lower my immunity. Is there any real hazard to my health? Other ppl I've talked to tell me they've done it and have had no problem. Anyone know anything about this kind of stuff?

also, is it painful?

So my main question is: What is this muscle called and what can you tell me about it?

Is this true? If so, why?

Moms doctor also said not to take it but to instead take multi vitamin, but that only has 16% calcuim compared to Calcium Citrate.

What's good to take for Diverticulosis, Physillium (doc said it's weaker) or Metamucil? Mom doubts the doctor since she thinks she said Metamucil since it's a drug not a herb.

This one doctor said to take Acipex at night and the new doc for my mom said to take it with an empty stomach, which one should my mom take?

This new doctor is just confusing.
