Is this true? If so, why?

Moms doctor also said not to take it but to instead take multi vitamin, but that only has 16% calcuim compared to Calcium Citrate.

What's good to take for Diverticulosis, Physillium (doc said it's weaker) or Metamucil? Mom doubts the doctor since she thinks she said Metamucil since it's a drug not a herb.

This one doctor said to take Acipex at night and the new doc for my mom said to take it with an empty stomach, which one should my mom take?

This new doctor is just confusing.

No treatment is needed for diverticulosis. Increases in hydration, increasing fiber content in the diet or removing factors resulting in constipation help decrease the incidence of new diverticula or possibly keep them from bursting or becoming inflamed . Fiber supplements may aid if diet is inadequate. If the diverticula are unusually large , often infected , or exhibit uncontrollable bleeding, surgery can be performed to decrease relapse or other complications.
Calcium citrate is neither good nor bad. .

Do what the doctor says
Take it night and take it 4 hours after meals...What is confusing?
