My friend got high and went to the Doctor and had blood work done and once even went to the Hospital. Does THC show on these tests? And does the Doctor know its THC and have to report him?

Well I don't do any drugs but I do smoke cigarettes and drink beer. Tomorrow I need to take a drug test for a new job and was wondering if I will pass? I was taking vitamin A, vitamin B6, and L-lysine and hope that those will not affect the drug test. Are there any professionals on here that could tell me if I will pass?

I have a few questions about becoming a compounding pharmacist:

1) How much more education is required past the normal 4 of pharmacy school to be able to make drugs?

2) What is an average salary for a compounding pharmacist versus a normal retail pharmacist?

3) Do retail pharmacies hire compounding pharmacists specifically or is this more of a mom-and-pop type of job? I've just never seen compounding advertised at the chains and I don't really know if they even use them at the major chains.

when doctors have your blood tested, is it done at a lab with visual eye inspection. or is the test done via software with viral/bacteria recognition. and if it is the latter how do they detect new strains of viruses ect.

During my procedure yesterday I was told that a breathing tube would be used. Of course I was under when they put it in and took it out. My throat is still very sore from this (not to mention pain from the rest of the operation!) and I was wondering how much longer it will ache, and if there is anything I can do for the pain.

* I am taking painkillers for the surgery, but it's not helping my throat.

I got a letter back from MCPHS saying that I didn't get accepted into the Doctor of Pharmacy program, but they offered alternatives, such as Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dental Hygiene, Health Psychology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, or Nursing.

I decided on nursing, but I'm feeling a bit skeevy on this major. I really want to be a pharmacist as drugs always fascinated me. Now the real question is, I wonder if I can do nursing for two years and then transfer into PharmD?? Is it possible? I mean, is it worth it...?

My other alternative is Pharmaceutical Science.

Oh, btw, I'm average at Chemistry. HELP! >O<

I need a reply as soon as possible b/c I have to reply back to this college~! Thank you!

She is starting in fall and I'd like to get her something now for her graduation from undergrad. It should be something that won't have to be standard when she gets there. (For example, she may have to get a certain kind of stethoscope that the school requires?)

Thanks!

My mother is 41 years old, and she is in good health, but she does have a past, heart murmor.

She is experiencing SUDDEN shartp tingly, pain in her left arm, and she feels pain hitting her in the upper back as well...
