I'm far from a conspiracy freak, but think about the massive revenues and jobs that would be lost if a vaccine/cure for cancer was discovered.

for my allergy. it works.

I've always wondered if someone who is unconscious after an accident and in need of an immediate operation (such as to relieve pressure on the brain, or fix a punctured lung etc) are given an anaestethic before surgery. If so, how does the anaesthetist ensure that the anaesthetic won't kill someone who's already in a severely weakened state, as I believe they work out the appropriate amount for conscious people based on height and body weight?

how much blood do you need to do an ABO blood type test? and how long con the blood last in a syringe before you cant test it?

I'm 16, live in california, and want to participate in the school blood drive this week for the red cross..

height: 5'1''
weight: 103-5 ish
medical history: normal, but a few fainting spells
sicknesses: none
age: 16
bmi: 19.2
body fat % : 9%


sooo... am i qualified to give blood? if not, how do I become qualified?

(also, I've been to both China and Mexico within the past year.. does that affect my blood-giving ability?)
