What type of chemical is responsible for making something taste bitter? I know that some simple sugars are responsible for sweetness. Sodium Chloride (or similar salt) is responsible for saltiness. Hydrogen ions make things taste sour. But what compound or types of compounds make things bitter?

Doctors have me on Oxicodon right now but they're switching me to a different medication, MS codon (morphine).

I just got used to this medication, and now they're changing it.

I want to know if there will be any effects or withdrawals? Do I need to be worried about it?

Hi guys,

I am going to be honest with you. I believe it is the best way to get the best answers.

I have used lots of ecstasy (MDMA). Because of that, my brain is heavily damaged.

I am looking for any kind of natural vitamins or naturopathic remedies to cure from the ecstasy use.

I am not looking for the 5-htp or L-Tryptophan, because they are just the precursers of the serotonin. They just make serotonin, but not cure my brain.

Yes, I am looking for something to re-grow my anxons, brain cells, etc.

I am not looking for the chemical meds like the SSRIs or other meds.

I am only looking for the natural remedies or homeopathic remedies, vitamins, etc.

Can you help me?

Thank you very much.

I know it's a weird superstition from my friend who told me that.

I like mint candies, it makes water cold... ü

Mix mint candies with menthol cigars... I do.

Same goes with laptops which both I usually bring to school.

My grandmother had an operation for diverticulitis in late 2005 and again in early 2006. She had been fine mentally before this, but ever since, she has been very forgetful: forgetting to take her medications, when she eats, misplacing things, and she has a preoccupation with needing to have bowel movements. She's always complaining of not feeling well, especially right before we're ready to take her somewhere. She has a car, but drives it less and less even up to our home for dinner and she lives right in town. She hardly goes out of her house. My gram's short-term memory is just terrible anymore. My mom is the only one in the area who takes care of her and is getting frustrated. My uncle lives 2 hours away, rarely comes in, and only calls my gram once a week. She was supposed to have an MRI done, but cancelled, and it's difficult to get her to go to the doctor. She sees nothing wrong and gets upset when you think something is. Could this possibly be the start of dementia?

i am 21 years old and in good physical shape. i do not smoke, nor drink, nor have any existing health problems. last night i woke up three separate times with a stabbing pain in the center or center-right side of my chest. the time duration between incidents was about 2 or 3 hours. each session lasted less than 5 minutes or so. the third and final time of the night i had a sensation like something had "dislodged" (for lack of better word), almost like a slight cracking noise or something, and the pain disappeared. i had hurt my upper back about a week ago while working out and am just getting over that. any ideas? thank you.
